Organize Your Internet Explorer Favorites: Folders

Organize Your Favorites

Now comes the fun part: you get to organize your Favorites.

  1. Select the Favorite you are wanting to organize, and click on the Move to Folder button.
  2. Once you click on the Move to Folder button, a pop-up window will appear labeled Browse for Folder. This pop-up window will contain all the folders that you've ever made. If this is your first time organizing your Favorites, than you probably just have the one folder in there that you made with the previous step. Select the folder you want to move you Internet Explorer Favorite to, and click Ok.
  3. That's it. Now your stray Favorite has been nicely organized into a folder, where you can add more Favorites that pertain to that folder's subject as you come across them while searching the Web. This is an invaluable skill for anyone and you've just accomplished it!
