Searching for drink recipes - whether they're alcoholic drink recipes or otherwise - is very simple. Just navigate to the Droogle home page, and if you know what the base ingredient of your proposed concoction is, just type it in to the main search query bar. I typed in cider and got a ton of great results; anything from hot mulled cider to Don's Wicked Cider (sounds interesting).Also, on the Droogle home page, you can browse through Droogle's Most Recent Searches. This is a great place to start for ideas; for example, I was able to view drink recipes for candy cane martinis.
Droogle's Liquor Cabinet, Suggest a Drink
I thought this was a great idea - Droogle has a feature called the Liquor Cabinet where you select ingredients you have already on hand from a long list, and then Droogle comes up with possible combinations for what you've got.Droogle also lets you suggest a drink; you'll have to enter in a pretty detailed list of information including a Drink Name, Ingredients, what glass it should be served in, etc., and then submit it for review. Very cool.
