Digg Tools

Use Digg Tools To Search Digg Stories, Digg Links, and More

By , About.com Guide

Digg is a social bookmarking site and is a great way to find breaking stories or vote on links that you believe should get a wider audience. While Digg does have a couple of fun tools to play with, the best ones exist elsewhere on the Web. Here are a few of my favorite Digg buttons, Digg toolbars, Digg bookmarklets, etc.:
  • Add Digg News to Your Website: A very easy way to add Digg stories to your own site or blog; all the code is laid right out for you.
  • Digg Digger: "This Widget grabs all the new stories submitted to digg area queue."
  • Digg Toolbar: Available for both Firefox and Internet Explorer; a Digg toolbar.

Other useful Web browser bookmarkets and buttons:

  • The Best Bookmarklets for Searching the Web: BookMarklets are basically tiny software programs that add even more functionality to your browser toolbar. Many popular Web sites are creating bookmarklets for many different things: sharing content, adding tags, etc.
  • The Best Firefox Add-ons for Web Search: Some of the most underrated Web search tools out there are Firefox add-ons, small tools that add functionality of some type to your Firefox browser. The following are just a few of the best Firefox add-ons I've come across so far to help me in my Web searching.
