How to Find Free Video Hosting on the Web

By Wendy Boswell, About.com

Do you have an audio or video file that you're just dying to share with the world, but can't find a place to host it? There are plenty of free video hosting sites on the Web; here are just a few of the video hosting sites I've found:
  • PutFile: free video hosting with unlimited file uploads; up to 25MB per file at the time of this writing.
  • ZippyVideos: no registration required for free video hosting here; 100 MB limit.
  • YouSendIt.com: not exactly a video hosting service, but a resender that you can use to email large (1 GB) files to other people.
  • DropShots: easy to use video hosting service; must register in order to use it, free registration includes up to 10 uploaded videos.
  • PhotoBucket: free video hosting service with up to 1 GB of storage available (that's a lot).
  • Google Video Upload: No limit on size or storage here; Google Video offers absolutely free video hosting.
  • TinyPic: free video hosting; "TinyPic is a video hosting and publishing utility for MySpace, eBay, blogs and message boards."
  • ClipShack: up to 5 GB free storage space here.
  • YouTube: YouTube not only offers free video hosting, but an enormous online community of users.
