Free Screensaver Downloads

Wouldn't it be nice to have something other then scrolling marquee for your screensaver? Now you can, with my list of free screensaver downloads. Here are a few great sites where you can find free screensavers:
  • Futorismo Zugakousaku: for Mac users only. There are some gorgeous nature-themed screensavers here; you can even watch a preview of what they will look like.
  • Scenic Reflections: great assortment of free screensavers here; my favorites are the waterfalls and cityscapes.
  • Flickr Screensaver: a neat screensaver that browses through photo sets at Flickr.
  • Holding Pattern: a view from the inside of an airplane.
  • The Endless Forest: it's a screensaver, or a game, or both. Basically it's deer roaming around in a forest, very peaceful.
  • HotDigg: get scrolling Digg items as your screensaver; a must for any serious Digg user.
  • Free Screensaver Downloads: your choice of Legos, large clock, or falling tiles.
  • Really Slick Screensavers: a collection of extremely eclectic screensavers here, my favorite is the Fireworks.
  • hotToast:Flickr-based endless screensaver: another Flickr screensaver, this one is called Loopy. You can click on any picture that comes up if you want to explore it further within Flickr.
  • Clock Screensaver: your choice of about eight different clocks and ways to tell time; the most interesting is the handwritten digital clock.
  • Movie Trailer Free Screensaver: Awesome! "Watch the latest movie trailers of upcoming major film releases with the Movie Trailer Screensaver. This screensaver automatically updates its movie trailers every week. Trailers appear in full screen with sound."
  • Linux Screensaver for Windows: "Construct and package a Linux LiveCD so that it will install using the standard Microsoft Windows install process and will operate as a standard Windows screensaver."
