dirpyEver come across a video on the Web that you'd love to watch in another format? You can make this happen with Dirpy, a snazzy site that basically turns your computer into a state of the art DVR. Here's how it works:
  • Find a video that you like, say one about an angry kitty cat.
  • Copy and paste the URL of the video into the Dirpy search field and click "dirpy!"
  • You'll see the Dirpy studio appear:

This is where it gets really neat. You can fiddle with the input/output settings here, record to MP3 in a variety of available video qualities, etc. This would really come in handy if you'd like to show a video to someone who doesn't have fast Internet access...or maybe put a whole bunch of silly kitty videos together onto one DVD....or create a customized video playlist for your child. Check it out and let us know what you think of Dirpy.
