The fastest growing search engine? Bing!

According to a Nielsen Online report, Bing is the fastest growing search engine on the Web, beating out Yahoo, Google, and Ask. Here's more from the report:

Total searches on MSN/Windows Live/Bing Search increased 22.1 percent month-over-month in August, making it the fastest growing search provider among the top 10. Share of searches for Bing increased from 9.0 percent in July to 10.7 percent in August. Google Search continued as the No. 1 search provider, with 7.0 billion searches and a 64.6 percent search share.

Not bad for a search engine that was launched in June, huh? Bing continues to shine in the search field, and with innovations such as visual search, I don't see their progress stopping anytime soon.

If you do the same search using Google, then using Bing, you will never use Bing again.

Isn’t this “honor” much like awarding the Most Improved trophy to a new golfer who has discovered that you’re supposed to use a driver at the tee?
