A Novel Approach To Keeping Your Computer Virus-Free

Wednesday June 22, 2005
Dude! I just came up with the best, yeah, the BEST way to keep my Web surfin' fast and easy. Yeah. It's called "surfin' nekkid." See, I know that there's haters out there that wanna bring me down with, like, stuff like "use anti-virus protection!" and "install firewalls!" and "watch out for spyware!". Yeah. They're just players, know what I'm sayin'? Dude, I 'cided that I don't hafta do any of that stuff:
"0% of IT managers surveyed by Maritz reported that computer performance levels were affected by up to 50% due to security issues. 75% of small and medium businesses were hit by at least one virus, with some affected over 100 times, 40% of respondents have been hit by hackers at least once, with some targeted more than 200 times, 29% don't use anti-spam software, 34% don't use spyware software, 4% don't use anti-virus software and 9% don't have Internet firewalls."(source:ZDNet.com)
So if these guys don't do it, I don't hafta either...right? I mean, they should know, right? And Dude! Just as a purely hypothetical question, why is my computer running so slow and all my personal information and files gone? Just asking. Peace out!
