Never lose anything on your computer again with Google Desktop, a free download that actually indexes all of the content on your machine; along with email, online interaction, and more. I don't know how I ever managed to get along without this handy application.
Here's how it works: you download Google Desktop, and it will "index" your information (this process takes quite a while depending on how much you have on your computer). After your information is indexed by Google Desktop, you can use the Google Desktop interface to access your files, images, emails, pretty much anything.
