A phishing site is by its nature insecure - and you'll instantly be able to verify this by checking the
URL. If there's no
HTTPS prefex; i.e., https://ebay.account.com, then the site is not legit. Do NOT give your personal information to a site that does not have the secure HTTPS protocol.
