Question: "How do I search by lyrics?"
You've got that song in your head that just won't quit - problem is, you can't remember the lyrics!
Answer:

You don't have to guess your way through your favorite song ever again. Using the Web, you can search by lyric for almost any song you can possibly think of.

In order to search for a song's lyrics, you're going to need to use a search engine. There are many search engines available to you (not sure which one fills your needs? Try reading How to Pick the Best Search Engine).

For the purposes of this article, we're going to use three different search engines to find song lyrics: Google, Yahoo, and Ask.com.

Google: Navigate to Google. In the search field (right in the middle of the page), type "my lyrics" (you'll want to use the actual lyrics you're looking for in those quotes; just a line of the song will do just fine). It does matter if you use quotations around this phrase. Click the "google search" button. The search button will take you to the page of results for your search query.

Yahoo: Navigate to Yahoo. The landing page for Yahoo is a bit busy; you can find the search field at the very top of the page under the Yahoo logo. Type in "my lyrics", click "enter", and you should get a whole page of results for your lyrics search.

Ask: Navigate to Ask. Ask's home page is very uncluttered, so the search field is easy to find: right in the middle. Type in "my lyrics", click "search", and you're good to go.
