For the purposes of this article, we're going to use three different search engines to find Google Earth: Google, Yahoo, and Ask.com.
Google: Navigate to Google. In the search field (right in the middle of the page), type "google earth". It doesn't matter if you use quotations or not. Click the "google search" button OR the "I feel lucky!" button. The search button will take you to the page of results for Google Earth, but the "I'm feeling lucky!" button will take you directly to the Google Earth page - it's the faster option. Once you're there at the Google Earth free download page, you'll be able to follow instructions for downloading this incredible program.
Yahoo: Navigate to Yahoo. The landing page for Yahoo is a bit busy; you can find the search field at the very top of the page under the Yahoo logo. Type in "google earth", click "enter", and it should be the very first item in your search results.
Ask: Navigate to Ask. Ask's home page is very uncluttered, so the search field is easy to find: right in the middle. Type in "google earth", click "search", and it should be the first item in your search results.
