Google SearchWiki - What You Need To Know

Seven Things to Keep in Mind About Google SearchWiki

  • You have to be signed into Google in order to use Google SearchWiki.
  • Once you start using Google SearchWiki, you can't turn it off (at the time of this writing, anyway).
  • Your comments are public.
  • You can only change your search results. Google SearchWiki does not affect anyone else's search results but yours once you are signed in.
  • Your username will be publicly visible once you've made a comment on a Google search result.
  • You can see all your SearchWiki activity on your SearchWiki notes page.
  • If you delete a result, you can restore it.

Why should I use Google SearchWiki?

If you want to customize your Google search results, and make all your favorite results appear at the top every time you search for them (and vote down the ones you don't like!), then Google SearchWiki is a good way to do that.
