At the time of this writing (November 2008), no, Google SearchWiki is a Google service that can not be turned off once it is enabled.

Are my Google SearchWiki results public?

Only your comments are public. The search results that you vote up and down are kept private.

Can other people see my SearchWiki page?

No. Nobody can see your SearchWiki page but you.

Can people tell who I am from my comments?

Your username is displayed next to your comments, and they are public. Unless your username identifies you personally, your username is safe. If you want to edit this nickname, you'll need to go to your Google Accounts dashboard.
