Release Your Swicki-Add Your Swicki to Your Site or Blog

In this step, you're actually going to get the code to add your very own Swicki to your site or blog.

All you need to do is copy (Ctrl A will copy all the code in the box, then Ctrl C will actually copy and "lift" the code. Hit Ctrl V to paste the code where you would like it to go) the code into where ever is appropriate for your own site or blog.

A couple of things that would be nice at this point:

  • Highlight button. It was a bit of a pain to copy and paste this code. What about making this box more intuitive; the user merely clicks in the box and the entire code string is highlighted?
  • Code placement examples. Most people who use Swicki's services are going to be computer-savvy enough to figure out where the code should go on their sites. That being said, it would be nice to provide some quick how-to's, tutorials, and sample placements for those who really have no idea where or how to place their Swicki. In particular I think it would be a good idea to have specific Blogger examples.
