Cool MySpace Stuff

The Best Cool MySpace Stuff on the Web

By Wendy Boswell, About.com

I'm a big fan of MySpace, and there's a few widgets, MySpace editors, and websites that make it even easier to use MySpace. Here are my current favorite sites to find the best cool MySpace stuff:
  • MySpace Blog Editor - Performancing: Performancing for Firefox is a great multi-blog editor, and they've just added a MySpace editor as well. I tried this out, and it's extremely easy (and a lot faster than using MySpace!). There's even a MySpace editor screencast that's quite helpful when you're first starting out.
  • ImageShack: Need a place to host images? Try ImageShack; it's free, no registration required, and you can upload images from your own computer. Great for message boards too.
  • Thomas' MySpace Editor: An easy way to customize your MySpace profile.
  • MySpace Profile Creator: you can create all sorts of fun stuff for your MySpace profile here, including polls, tables, and profile editing.
  • YouTube: YouTube is a great way to add embedded video to your MySpace profile or blog.
  • PollPub: Make a poll and publish it on your MySpace profile or blog - a great way to make and publish MySpace polls.
  • ZingFu: "ZingFu lets you take your photos and put them into our Zings (we've got 100s and add more each week). Select one of the Zings below, upload a photo from your computer, and whammy! Your photo is now 300% dumber." Great way to customize your MySpace profile.
  • Meez: create and customize your very own MySpace icon.
  • RockYou.com: create MySpace slideshows out of your own photos.
