You can compare prices from local stores with
Yokel, a shopping search engine that grabs prices of products from stores in your local neighborhood. For instance, my search for
mp3 players within five miles of Portland, Oregon brought back a whole bunch of results, all within driving distance.
One thing that's missing from search results is an instant price comparison. In order to find the prices, you have to navigate to the actual store site. It would be nice to skip that step and get prices right up front. However, I did like the Search for a Store feature; it's a great way to find a phone number or address of a store within a given area.
