There's plenty of sites on the Web that offer free online games; here's a few that have caught my eye lately:

• Games for the Brain: Some seriously challenging stuff here.
• Liberated Games:"Liberated Games is dedicated to cataloging all full commercial games that have been liberated and made free in playable form to the public."
• Falling Sand Game: Kind of hard to explain; you'll just have to check it out for yourself (trust me, you'll like it).
• Free Online 1980 Games: "play the great 80's classics" - includes Donkey Kong, Mario Brothers, and Pac-Man.
• 101 Free Games: "some mods, a little shareware, and a couple Web games, but most of the titles on the next few pages are 100 percent free with no strings attached."
• Orisinal: Gorgeous animation and lovely, peaceful music. I like going here just to see what you can do with Flash.
• Miniclip: Home of Runescape (with the newest addition, Web of Shadows), Police Chopper, and Karaoke.
