MapQuest is what more of us use for driving directions than any other mapping service on the Web. It's simple, easy to use, and doesn't have a lot of extra gadgets - I'm not saying that gadgets aren't inherently wonderful or anything; it's just that when I'm looking for directions to the theater downtown, I could care less if I have drawing tools embedded into the mapping interface: I just want directions.
