Get the Buzz with Popurls

Thursday March 9, 2006
One of the most useful sites to come across my radar in a while, Popurls is a site dedicated to grabbing the "buzz", or what's popular, on the Web. Here's a few of the Web services that popurls features the most popular feeds/digs/stories from: and more. Much more. There's also a section that is still under construction that will allow you, the user, to add your own most popular URL's. I love it! It's already got a place of honor on my already overcrowded Firefox toolbar.

GetMyScoop.com is also a great site for content aggregation. It already allows its users to set up their own channels of feeds and post their own content, which automatically becomes RSS enabled. Other nice features include search, filters, email alerts, and content sharing.
