MySpace Layouts and a bit of a Social Experiment

So, with all the constant hype surrounding MySpace, I decided that I would conduct a bit of an experiment. I just created a MySpace profile (finally), and I apparently am User 57 million and change, an amazing number. However, so far, I'm a bit unimpressed with the quality of the possible highly vaunted networking that's supposed to be happening, because this is what the Browse feature looks like:

LOL! I don't know if you can see the writing real well, but the search parameters include looking for someone who is Divorced, a Swinger, in a Relationship, etc. I know that MySpace is huge and there's probably some kind of weighty social importance behind it just for the sheer size of the thing, but I just couldn't help giggling at the sheer audacity of it all. It's a giant dating game with HTML.

The MySpace experiment: I'm inviting you all to come to my MySpace profile for the next two weeks. I want to see what kind of connections I can make, what makes MySpace so special, and if it's really worth the hype. I'll also share with you various MySpace tips and tricks that I come across or that you, the reader send in to me by sharing your thoughts in the comments below, or email me.
