You can check out the Digg vs. Dot scoring system; each new post gets three points IF it's the first post on either site, only one point is given for ties (within 50 minutes), and negative points are awarded for duplicates. The only search feature is a dropdown menu that offers searches by current week, last 14 days, last 21 days, or all results.
