Search Engine That Supports The Troops

Wednesday April 6, 2005
I received a very interesting press release yesterday from Boots4Troops, a San Francisco, California based organization that delivers various necessary products and accessories to deployed US soldiers, such as boots, socks, etc. They are launching a new project that will help raise money for this endeavor, and allow people all over the United States to contribute as well. How? By a search engine!

As stated in the press release: "A new search engine has been developed and released that will donate revenue generated by advertising and direct individual donations to a program called "Boots4Troops". Search4USA, gains access to comprehensive results from Google and Ask Jeeves to deliver great results for a great cause. The search results are a combination of those two search engines. At Search4USA, people can also get daily headline news and military news in addition to reading and participating in a daily Blog4Troops."

Regardless of how you and I might feel about American troops deployed around the world, they still could use our help and this looks to be a legitimate effort to help them. Check it out!
