Ever read a book and wish you could see, geographically, what the story is talking about? You can do that with Google Lit Trips, a fascinating site that pairs up with Google Earth to show readers a map of what they're reading.

You'll need to actually have Google Earth on your system in order to download these files (they're all in a .kmz format). Once you do that, you can browse through maps referencing locations in a number of different books, including:
