Google Book Search adds custom bookshelves

Follow me on:

google book searchGoogle Book Search, which has long been a favorite of mine for its fantastic book search resources, has added the ability for users to create their own, personalized libraries.

My library: As you search through Google Books, you can add books you find interesting to your library, create your own bookshelves to organize your collections, rate books and write reviews, and share the books (or collections) that you really like with other people.
For example, I searched through Google Books and found The Secret Garden. I added it to my library by clicking the "Add to my Library" link found on the left hand side of the book's first page, and selected the "To Read" option (instant classification!). Now my library has a book in there waiting for me to read, and since Google Book Search has a huge variety of books and periodicals in a wide range of categories (Cooking, Health & Fitness, Magazines, Technology & Engineering, Classics, etc.) I'm sure to find even more books that I'll enjoy.
