Track happenings on Twitter with Tinker

Saturday April 4, 2009
Want to find out more about the local Bingo contest? How about the statewide track meet, the Grammy awards, or the NFL draft picks? One interesting way to track these events is with Tinker, a Twitter search utility that shows you relevant, real-time conversations from across the social Web. Type in an event you're interested in, for example, the Tony Awards. You'll see a real-time stream of people chatting about the awards, graphs, who's following that stream, who's talking about it, and an RSS feed.

And Tinker's not only for events. You can use it to follow all sorts of things: people, conferences, festivals, music, movies, the list is really endless. You can also create your own unique Tinker stream to share with others, on whatever topic your heart desires.
