Mobile Web use has doubled in the last year

According to a Comscore press release yesterday, mobile Web use has more than DOUBLED in the last year, from 10.8 million in January 2008 to 22.4 million in January 2009. We're looking up all sorts of content using our Web-enabled phones, anything from news to games to images, and we're also using our phones to blog, Twitter, and utilize social networking sites. Sure, the tiny screens aren't a substitute for our regular desktops, but as smartphones become more sophisticated, I see this trend continuing.
