Find a Charity Organization on the Web

Sunday December 28, 2008
If you're looking for a way to lend a helping hand this holiday season, here are some great charity organizations you can research via the Web :
  • The Hunger Site: Give Food for Free to Hungry People in the World: "Your click on the "Give Free Food" button funds food for the hungry, paid for by site sponsors whose ads appear after you click and provided to people in need around the world through the efforts of Mercy Corps and America's Second Harvest."
  • Mercy Corps: This is a great charity to get involved with; they have been especially helpful in the Hurricane Katrina recovery efforts.
  • Second Harvest: America's largest charitable hunger relief organization.
  • SERVEnet.: SERVEnet offers literally millions of different volunteer opportunities all over the United States.
  • Habitat for Humanity: Help build a house for someone.
  • Give Blood: Want to really make a difference in someone's life? Donate blood.
