USA.gov, the U.S. Government's official search engine

Friday October 17, 2008
The search engine formerly known as Prince...er, wait, that's not right. The search engine formerly known as FirstGov.gov has changed its name to a more easily remembered one - and that's USA.gov. Read more about USA.gov in my article titled USA.gov, The U.S. Government's Official Search Engine.

More fun with the U.S. government:

Find Government Information with Clusty: One of my favorite metasearch engines has to be Clusty, and one of my favorite Clusty features is the Clusty Government Search.

How to Contact the United States Government on the Web: There are many sites that instruct searchers on how to contact various people and institutions within the United States government. Here are a couple that I've dug up.

Google Uncle Sam: You can find all kinds of great US government information with Google Uncle Sam, part of the general Google search engine that is limited specificially to only government-related Web pages.
