Create a Personalized Starting Point on the Web by Opening Multiple Bookmarks

Monday September 8, 2008
At the start of my time on the Web every day, I tend to visit the same sites - my favorite blogs, a few news sites, etc. Instead of navigating to these sites over and over again, I've set up a simple folder in Firefox that with just one click opens ALL of these sites in multiple tabs for easy access.

Here's how I set it up in my easy to follow tutorial titled How To Create a Personalized Starting Point on the Web by Opening Multiple Bookmarks.

Not sure which sites to include? I'll help you out! Here's a few suggestions:

  • A Year of Best Web Sites: An entire year's worth of some of the best sites on the Web.
  • The Best Fifty Sites You Don't Know About (Yet): There are millions and millions of Web sites out there. Unfortunately, there are many Web sites that go under many searcher's radar. Some of these sites might be familiar to you, others not so familiar, but all are worth taking a look.

Wow, this is a great idea. I started using Firefox this spring and I’m about to start loving it more!
