The last lecture of Randy Pausch

Friday July 25, 2008
randy pausch Randy Pausch, a Carnegie Mellon professor who became a Web phenomenon after delivering his last lecture in September 2007, died today after a prolonged battle with pancreatic cancer. He was only 47.

Now, why, exactly, did Randy Pausch become such a buzzword on the Web? Mostly because of his last lecture in which he talked about his cancer, his lessons learned and gave advice to students on how to achieve their own career and personal goals in the face of impossible odds. This video has been watched an amazing three million times (and counting!) - proof positive that Randy Pausch definitely made an impact on those around him.
