Use Mobaganda to plan your next event
Tuesday June 3, 2008
If you're planning on some kind of event soon: a birthday party, a conference, a business meeting, etc., you might want to try a very useful site called Mobaganda. Mobaganda gives you the ability to plan simply yet effectively, and here's how:
- There's no sign-up or registration required. In other words, you can get going fast.
- Mobaganda gives you a custom URL so your event can be easily found by other people.
- You get a specific RSS feed to your event for tracking changes.
- You get a custom email address from which to email all potential attendees; this also makes it easier to figure out who's coming and who's not.
- All your information is dumped after 30 days, so there's no fear of something you created lingering on the Web forever and ever.
And that's pretty much it. Basically, Mobaganda is dead simple to use and fulfills a very specific purpose, which is why I like it!

Thanks for sharing this one, I really need something like this one.
Forget it. It doesn’t work. Mobaganda purports to create a group email address (essentially a distribution list) for those who say they will attend your event, but that email address does not work so there is not way to communicate with your attendee list.
Re my comment above, there was apparently a problem with the site’s email system, which was quite promptly fixed after I reported it. It does work.
