Where do you get your news?

Monday March 3, 2008
A recent study revealed that more people than ever before are getting their news from the Web:

Nearly half of the 1,979 people who responded to the survey said their primary source of news and information is the Internet, up from 40 percent just a year ago. Less than one third use television to get their news, while 11 percent turn to radio and 10 percent to newspapers.

I get almost ALL of my news on the Web, from a variety of sources. Here are just a few of the news and commentary sites that I like to visit: Keeping up with the daily news on the Web is a snap. Here are the top ten ways you can search the Web for the daily news, including:
  • How To Find World News On The Web: Following world news is easy now with the Web. You can get news from all over the world, from virtually every country.
  • Online Newspapers: Now, you can access your local daily newspaper by just a click of the mouse. This makes monitoring news locally even easier; and you can also see what other local newspapers are saying as well (without getting out of your pajamas).
  • How To Find Technology News on the Web: There are plenty of places on the Web where you can find up to the minute technology news on all kinds of interesting new technology, from digital camera technology to nano technology to Bluetooth technology. Here are a few of the best sources for technology news.

Some say print is dead. We can’t say we fully agree as there will always be a market for it, just not as much as web. The access to news on the net is quicker, cheaper and more extensive. We can’t complain much about that now can we?

We all know that, but what “study” are you linking to? It’s gone now and you don’t source it in your article. Pew Internet? eMarketer? Who?

Be specific. I can claim that 85% of people know what study you are referring to, but can’t provide you with a link.
