Tonight, at 12:01 AM (technically tomorrow!), is the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The Web is literally buzzing with anticipation; here are some of the best Web sites by which to get the latest Deathly Hallows news and information.

Deathly Hallows Web Sites

  • The Leaky Cauldron: News, book reviews, quotes, downloads, and a ton more.
  • Mugglenet: Muggles everywhere will enjoy Mugglenet, a site completely dedicated to everything Harry Potter, including galleries, book reviews, and editorials.
  • The Official Site of J.K. Rowling: Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling posts regular updates to this site via her journal; there's also a section to address rumors, news, and a great FAQ.
  • Warner Brothers Harry Potter Official Site: Not updated with Deathly Hallows information since this is the official Harry Potter movies site; you can watch Potter trailers here and play with lots of fun widgets here.
  • The Harry Potter Lexicon: If you have a question about any detail of Harry Potter, this would be the place to find the answers. Every book is lovingly detailed - it's definitely one of my favorite Harry Potter sites.
  • Harry Potter at Scholastic: this is the official Scholastic Harry Potter site; there are so many fun games here, lots of downloads, fun interactive quizzes, etc. A great place to visit with your kids.
  • Veritaserum: Super Harry Potter site with detailed plot summaries, blog templates, movies, media, and Harry Potter editorials and writings.
  • HPANA: A very large site, continually updated with all sorts of Harry Potter information and background resources.

More Harry Potter: The Harry Potter Web Search Scavenger Hunt is all about Harry Potter and his school adventures: Hogwarts, professors, school, books, and more. Plus, it's a great way to test your Web search skills! Try the Harry Potter Scavenger Hunt yourself.

i think Harry and his friends should end up taking over the school in the 7th book… that woul be a good way to end the Harry Potter epic…
