Google Web Accelerator

Thursday March 16, 2006
As I was searching on Google this morning, I noticed that they're pushing the Google Web Accelerator right now. What is it? More from the site:
"Google Web Accelerator works with your browser to help web pages show up in a snap. Google Web Accelerator is an application that uses the power of Google's global computer network to make web pages load faster. Google Web Accelerator is easy to use; all you have to do is download and install it, and from then on many web pages will automatically load faster than before."
If you'd like to try it, be aware that it is still in beta mode and so there will probably be bugs of some kind. And it does NOT work on streaming files such as MP3's, videos, etc.
