Technorati Favorites

Wednesday February 22, 2006
Technorati, one of the best blog search engines/aggregators out there, has added a new feature - Technorati Favorites. More from the Technorati Weblog:
"It's really very simple. Just tell us who your favorite bloggers are and you'll get a custom page that lets you monitor, search, and share your Favorites!"
There's a lot more than that but suffice it to say that you can basically compile a list (within Technorati) of your favorite blogs and search within them as well. Every time you see the star logo next to a blog on Technorati, you can snatch it to your Favorites list, and they've also created a nifty little bookmarklet and Favorites importer (you can find both of these gadgets on the Technorati Favorites Help page).

What is Technorati?: Technorati is a real-time search engine dedicated to the blogosphere. It only searches through blogs to find exactly what you're looking for. At the time of this writing, Technorati was tracking over 22 million sites and over a billion links, a mind-boggling amount.

Technorati Hacks: Read these great Technorati Hacks from Steve Rubel; you'll get a lot more oomph out of Technorati.
