Google Base: What the heck is Google Base? While it did go through some major hiccups at first (porn apparently is very popular), Google Base is gradually smoothing out.

Free Software: I'm such a sucker for free stuff; although I can't beat out Mr. Web Search, since he was offered a five-pound block of caramel three years ago. It's still in the pantry. What the heck do you do with a five pound block of caramel, I ask you? Anyway, Google recently gave away the store with Google Pack, a bundle of software that includes Norton Antivirus 2005 Special Edition, Ad-Aware SE Personal, Google Earth, and Google Pack Screensaver, among others. And it's free!
