Top 100 Lycos Searches of 2005 - and WWPHSF

We are ALL about top searches today here at Web Search Central, as you can see from my previous posts about Yahoo and A9.com. Not to be outdone, Lycos has released their list of the Top 100 Search Terms of 2005. Here are the Top Ten; last year's rank is in the parentheses:

Paris Hilton, you little search engine vixen, you. You just seem to be popping up all over the Web, and I just can't think why...it's escaping me...huh. Well, anyway - I came up with a new superhappy fun acronym today, and that is WWPHSF, or What Would Paris Hilton Search For? Here's what I think everyone's favorite blonde socialite/media hog would search for on the Web:

• Best Shopping Search Engines: Duh. This one's a no-brainer.
• Top 10 Audio Search Engines-BitTorrent Search Engines, Free Movie Downloads, Videos: Paris Hilton is unfortunately quite familiar with the power of free movie downloads on the Web..and I'm just going to leave it at that (takin' the high road for Christmas!).
• Google Cheat Sheet: Well, you never know. Paris Hilton might very well be a Master Googler and hides this fact behind a mask of shopping and boyfriends and okay, it's a stretch. Let's try...
• Top 10 Free People Search Engines-: Because boyfriends (apparently) have an extremely short shelf life and Paris must have access to a rapidly widening pool of talent for her newest arm candy.
