X Box System - Pay Big Bucks for an XBox 360 On eBay

Personally, I'm not a big fan of video games so I don't see what the big deal is (insert collective gasp of shock and dismay from all you gaming fans out there). The Xbox is apparently a big deal to many people, and while the X Box game system only retails for around $150, you can buy it on eBay for-get this-around $1000 or more.
My search for XBox 360 on eBay resulted in the following:
- Xbox 360: winning bid? $1025.00.
- XBox 360 for the low, low price of $1,149.00, or you can just buy it now for $2,950.00.
- XBox 360: This was one of the cheapest (!!!) systems I found in my search, only $710.00 with the reserve not met and about 30 minutes left in the auction at the time of this writing.

I bought my xbox 360 for the low price of $585. I then paid $40 for overnight shipping, but have not yet received it. Still better than waiting 3 months for it.
