Poetry Webcasts from the Library of Congress
Okay, the longer I stay on this site the more good stuff I'm finding. Here's more:
- Archive of Recorded Poetry & Literature: "The Archive of Recorded Poetry and Literature now contains recordings of over 2,000 poets reading their own work."
- The Walt Whitman Collection: "This collection offers access to the four Walt Whitman Notebooks and a cardboard butterfly that disappeared from the Library of Congress in 1942. They were returned on February 24, 1995."
- Poem a Day: "Poetry 180 is designed to make it easy for students to hear or read a poem on each of the 180 days of the school year."
Related: Poetry Daily serves up a new poem every day for your reading pleasure, and for you young at heart folks, there's Horrton Hears a Heart, a mashup of Poe and Seuss.
