Google To Give $3 Million to Library of Congress

This via Cnet:
"The Library of Congress is expected to announce Tuesday a $3 million gift from Google to help the library begin building a World Digital Library, a project that aims to digitize and place on the Web significant primary materials from national libraries and other institutions worldwide."I don't know about you, but the Library of Congress is absolutely one of my favorite sites. Here's a few highlights:
- American Memory: Features topics such as Immigration, Folklife, Native American History, and This Day in History, among others.
- Thomas: "In the spirit of Thomas Jefferson, legislative information from the Library of Congress."
- Library of Congress Poetry: This truly is an undiscovered gem. You'll find all sorts of good poetry here.
