Every once in a while I surf over to the History Channel Online's This Day In History feature. You can also subscribe to the daily This Day in History newsletter (scroll down to the bottom of the page) or as an RSS feed (also at the bottom of the page; both are pop-ups). They also have broadband video clips available for various items highlighted on any particular This Day in History.
