Watch Out! It's Creepy Gmail!

Monday October 31, 2005
Want to get REALLY freaked out on Halloween? You might want to read Creepy Gmail, a semi-long treatise on how Gmail is taking over the world, our minds, and generally making a nuisance of itself. A few of the reasons why the author of Creepy Gmail believes this to be true:
  • "Problem 1: Gmail is nearly immortal"
  • "Problem 2: Google's policies do not apply"
  • "Problem 3: A massive potential for abuse"
  • "Problem 4: Inappropriate ad matching"

I have a ton of friends who love G-Mail but I would never trust G-Mail after reading about the dangers. I mean, the idea of e-mail is a private and straight forward way to send message back and fourth with the power of the internet without what your saying be public. I would not use G-Mail after reading this.
