Useful Site of the Day - Freecycle.org

Friday October 21, 2005
Freecycle.org puts together "one man's trash and another man's treasure." There are literally hundreds of Freecycle groups all over the world; just find one near you and you can post that you need something or want to give something away. There is a HUGE variety of stuff that is available, and since it is free, not all of it is, shall we say, mint in the box. But you'd be surprised at how much cool stuff you can find.

The best way to find a Freecycle group near you is to browse the Freecycle Yahoo Groups. I myself belong to the Portland Oregon Freecycle group, but there are many, many more to choose from. Check out Freecycle groups all over the world to find one near you.
