Tuesday Web Search News Headlines
Tuesday October 18, 2005
Happy Tuesday Morning to you! I've got my industrial strength coffee, and cat on top of the computer. Here's some web search headlines for Tuesday:
- Estonia votes via the Internet: From CNet; the tiny state of Estonia "became what appears to be the first country to open its its local elections to Internet voting on a nationwide level--although only about 1 percent of the votes were cast online."
- Man Names His Son After Google: From the Official Google Blog; the baby's name is (not kidding here) Oliver Google Kai. We toyed around with this for our second kid, but we ended up going with Jeeves Technorati (J.T for short).
- AOL Getting Into Blog Search: From Search Engine Journal; AOL looks to be getting into the blog search business, along with Yahoo and Google.
- Giant Post-It Note Found Via Google Earth: From Google Sightseeing; we have what looks to be a giant Post-It note covering a field in Thailand. I heard there's a giant red stapler in Cleveland somewhere, too.
