Morning Search News Round-Up

There's just so much going on in the search world that I thought today I would just do a brief round-up of headlines. Here's the scoops:
- Internet not as vulnerable to full-scale attacks as previously thought: Hubs keep the Net fairly resistant to any really big attacks
- College students trust search engines: "college students rely on search engines more than any other media,including magazines, newspapers, and television ads"
- New iPod with video: Apple iPod, now with video playback
- Google and Comcast want to buy a chunk of AOL: "The Wall Street Journal has just posted a report that Google and cable television/high-speed Internet giant, Comcast, are in "serious discussions" with AOL (Time Warner) about acquiring a "minority" stake in AOL's portal business (not the dial-up access part)."
- Google Mastercard?: speculation on whether or not Google might be coming out with its own MasterCard
- Yahoo 360 - I Feel Pretty: Yahoo 360 now comes with custom display options
- Google and Search Tags: Google quietly introduced tagging into Google Accounts this week; you have to get into your search history to find them

- Google Purchases?: More speculation on whether or not Google will unveil a Paypal-similar service
