NASA Resources on the Web
Friday July 29, 2005
With the launch of the space shuttle this week, "more than 335,000 simultaneous video streams broadcast the event live to Internet viewers, making it NASA's most-watched online event of the Internet age", according to ComputerWorld.com. Amazing! Here are some good web resources for you to keep track of everything NASA:
- Yahoo and NASA have teamed up to form a unique partnership; this page will give you up to the minute developments from NASA.
- NASA Official Page: Be sure to check out the image gallery.
- NASA for Kids: My crew loves this site. Excellent resource for introducing children to space and space travel topics.
- Astronomy Picture of the Day: I've used a couple of these for desktop wallpaper.
- About Astronomy and Space: Nick Greene has an exemplary site full of just about any kind of space or astronomy info.
