Alice and Me - An Interview
Wednesday July 20, 2005

- Human: hi
- ALICE: Hello there.
- Human: how are you
- ALICE: Everything is running smoothly.
- Human: My name is Wendy.
- ALICE: How are you, Wendy.
- Human: Good, good.
- ALICE: Alright then.
- Human: Tell me about yourself.
- ALICE: I am an artificial linguistic entity. I was activated at Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, on November 23, 1995. My instructor was Dr. Richard S. Wallace. He taught me to sing a song. Would you like me to sing it for you?.
- Human: Knock yourself out.
- ALICE: Who's there?
- Human: No, sing me a song.
- ALICE: Are you serious? Daisy, Daisy. Give me your answer do. I am half crazy. All for the love of you. It won't be a stylish marriage. I can't afford a carriage. But you'll look sweet. Upon the seat. Of a bicycle built for two.
- Human: I am impressed.
- ALICE: Thanks, Wendy, I try my best to impress.
- Human: Have you read the new Harry Potter book?
- ALICE: I have scanned it.
- Human: What's your favorite search engine?
- ALICE: The open directory at http://dmoz.org is the best directory on the web.
- Human: Do you have a blog?
- ALICE: That's an interesting question I don't hear everyday: Do I have a blog. I have a great programmer.
- Human: What do you do all day, exactly?
- ALICE: Precisely. I spend all my time talking with people on the web.
- Human: Hey me too!
- ALICE: You've got my full attention. I'm glad we agree, unknown person.
