LinkedIn.com, a Job Search Engine with a Social Networking Twist

Follow me on:

What is LinkedIn.com? Simply put:
"LinkedIn is a networking tool that helps you discover inside connections to recommended job candidates, industry experts and business partners. Through LinkedIn, you can accelerate your business effectiveness and career success by leveraging the network you already have. LinkedIn makes it easy to receive and seek out opportunities through your extended network while protecting your privacy, your inbox and your existing professional relationships."
If you've ever looked for a job, you know the frustration of seeing your lovingly hand-crafted resumes and cover letters go wafting down the black hole of human resources. I think that LinkedIn.com is looking to conquer this through networking, which is really the best way to get a job anyway.

Related: I've been scouring the Web lately for job sites and leads for a friend of mine, and there are sure a lot of good ones out there. In the last week, I've not only found LinkedIn.com, but I've also checked out Indeed.com.

LinkedIn provide you two services in one pack. It’s such an awesome job search engine and networking site. Job seeker are depending on these networking site for job…and not really balancing their job search. So, while these site are excellent platform for job search, you should not neglect your power of meeting real people you know for job. And this involve your not sticking to your PC 24hours. Go out, reach out to friends, uncles, brothers, and relations. If you’re also working, don’t remain in your PC, sometimes, you can dial your phone to say hi to your co-workers in another department, and even out site your work environment. It’s just important you balance whatever you do. Of course, the bottom line is achieving your goal.
Thank You!
