AboveTopSecret.com, Conspiracy Heaven Site of the Day

Monday July 11, 2005

Thank you to Dean B. who pointed me to AboveTopSecret.com, a mind-boggingly huge hub for conspiracy theory lovers. The main motto to stick to at this site is "Deny Ignorance", and there are thousands upon thousands of devoted visitors to this site who gladly uphold this statement. Some highlights: This is a huge site. You'll have fun poking around in here; sure, there's a good share of what I'm kindly going to call "crackpot lunatics", but on the whole it's good friendly fun. And anyway, who doesn't enjoy a rousing conspiracy theory now and then, just to keep things interesting? As someone once said: "Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't after you."

Related: You can find all sorts of interesting things on the Web; that is, if you know how to look. Get started searching with a few of my web search tips and tricks.

AboveTopSecret has its own agenda. Its owners and moderators enforce their viewpoints by suppressing unpopular opinions with post banning.

I agree with Anon. Abovetopsecret.com is a website that does not “deny ignorance” they “embrace ignorance.”

Staffmembers and even relatives of staffmembers are able to accuse and make personal attacks at regular members and of course nothing happens to them, yet if those members who were attacked personally by the staff or the relatives of the staff respond with similar accusations, they will immediately find themselves banned from posting, or banned altogether from the website.

Above top secret is not a “free speech” type site. They ban, gang up on anyone they decide is not on their “political” agenda. They do not abide by their own T&C regulations. Do everything politely according to the rules and they ban you. Apparently the rules don’t apply to them.

ATS is a masonic propaganda site which sets out to attract gullible people to the freemasons. Anyone who dares speak out against the cult is instantly banned. Deny Ignorance!!? What a joke. ATS openly embrace ignorance with open arms.
If I was you I would steer clear of this rubbish.

The owners of this site are very pro-Obama. They publicly came out and made fun of anti-Obama members by stating “Screw the country, Obama must fail” as a way of deriding Obama opposition, and also had an owner rant on the evils of racism. I was a member for over 3 years, and was constantly told I was a marked man. When I compared the number of moderators to Obama’s czars….I was sacked. Everything was fine under Bush, but the election of Obama changed everything at this site.
